Montana: Glacier National Park

Glacier Park, Montana a step into the living history of Mother Earth. Life abounds in Glacier, inspiring one to explore, explore and then explore more. From the wisdom of the ancient glaciers, to the ever-present wildlife, it is a must experience for any outdoor enthusiast or anyone that appreciates living history. The hikes and trails are endless and always beckoning one to step into the mystery. Although I had a knee issue after a couple fifteen mile hikes, I was pulled beyond resistance to keep going. And boy am I glad I listened! My last hike up to Grinnell Glacier was one of the most amazing I’ve ever experienced. The pay off of being inside a crater of a mountain lined by the glacier and its ancient water was worth every step, regardless of later having to drag my leg down the mountain! I felt somehow part of the birth and life of the glacier as I sat with it. It was as if it’s venerable knowledge seeped into my spirit and shifted something within..
